What we set out to deliver

Nick came to us with a coaching idea and no engineering team. We became that team, building and running three codebases in parallel: a native iOS app, a cross-platform React Native app, and a web admin for coaches, on a Firebase + Stripe backend. We ship on a steady weekly cadence and report every change back to the client.

Where it all
started
Golfers improve fastest when a coach can see the swing and respond to it. But the feedback loop is broken: lessons are expensive, in-person, and impossible to review later. Nick wanted to close that gap in an app, letting a player capture a swing on the range, hand it to a coach, and rewatch annotated feedback as many times as they need. Doing that well meant smooth video capture, reliable delivery, in-app payments, and a coach-side surface to manage it all, across iOS and cross-platform, with a solo founder footing the bill. He needed a product team that could move fast and keep him in the loop, not a black box.
Research & Strategy
We scoped the smallest version that delivered the core loop, record, send, coach responds, rewatch, and sequenced everything else behind it. A monthly written report to the client keeps priorities honest.
Development & Engineering
Three codebases in step: native iOS (Swift), a React Native app (Expo), and a Vite/React coach admin, on Firebase (auth, Firestore, cloud functions, messaging) with Stripe for payments and push for the feedback loop. .
UI/UX & Visual Design
A calm, sport-native interface: a guided first-run tutorial, a focused capture flow, and a rewatch view built for studying a swing rather than just playing a clip. .
Launch & Growth
We ship weekly and measure the work: changes shipped, screens delivered, hours invested, sent to the client every month so the roadmap reflects what actually moves the product. .
